In Spring 2009 our congregation began a new ministry in our own backyard. With the help of many friends and members, we began a small community garden with a few raised beds formed with cedar from nearby land. We now have over a dozen raised beds where our members, friends at the Day Shelter, and others plant, tend, water, and reap the harvest of fresh produce.
We are also registered with the American Community Gardening Association.
